Google puts Boston Dynamics robotics up for sale - report

Google has put Boston Dynamics for sale, with parent Alphabet believing the robotics start-up will probably not produce a marketable product over the next few years, Bloomberg reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. Possible acquirers include the Toyota Research Institute and Amazon.com, which makes robots for its fulfillment centers, according to one source.
