Harman comes out with sustainable accessories under InfinityLab brand

Samsung unit Harman has announced the launch of a new line of non-audio products and power accessories under the brand InfinityLab, with an eye to sustainability. The new range of products are made from 90 percent recycled plastic and include eco-friendly wall chargers, power banks, wireless stands and a speakerphone. USB-A, USB-C and Lightning cables woven from recycled polyester yarn will also be available. Each product is packaged in plastic-free materials printed on FSC-certified paper with soy ink.

The products will become available exclusively at InfinityLab.com and Amazon from 16 September. These will include GaN wall chargers for USD 19.95-49.95, built-in cable power banks for USD 49.95-69.95, wireless power banks for USD 59.95-79.95, a wireless stand at USD 69.95 and the ClearCall speakerphone with echo and noise-cancelling technology at USD 129.95.

Samsung's Harman buys assets of automotive tech firm Savari

Harman International, part of Samsung, said it has bought most of the assets of Savari, a Silicon Valley-based automotive technology company developing vehicle-to-everything communications (V2X) technology in 5G Edge and automotive devices. Harman released Harman Turbo Connect (TBOT), a new software agent designed to anticipate and mitigate vehicle connectivity discrepancies on the road.
