Time Warner's HBO wants to launch its own online-only service in the US next year, Bloomberg reported. HBO division CEO Richard Plepler made the announcement but gave no pricing details, except to say that the service will after a US launch be extended to other countries. The offering could generate hundreds of millions of dollars for HBO, he said.
