Hong Kong loses nearly 8,500 fixed-line subscribers in October

Hong Kong lost 8,467 fixed-line subscribers in October 2019 to 2.725 million at the end of the month. The total includes 1.086 million residential fixed-lines and 1.639 million business lines. The number of non-exchange lines (which includes IP telephone and fixed wireless services) increased to 1.331 million in October from 1.326 million in the prior month, according to figures from the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA). The number of leased lines decreased to 136,882 in October from 137,181 in September.
