HTC launches Evo 3D in Europe

HTC announced the launch of the Evo 3D smartphone in Europe this summer. Similar to the HTC Sensation launched earlier this year with Vodafone and already available in US on CDMA networks, the Android 2.3 phone features auto-stereoscopic 3D with no glasses required, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a 4.3-inch qHD display. It comes with a back 5 megapixel camera able to capture 3D video, as well as a front 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls, plus GPS, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. The Evo 3D runs the HTC Sense 3.0 user interface and is expected to also support the company's VoD service HTC Watch. The recommended price for the European version, which features quad-band GSM and HSPA, is EUR 599.
