HTC revenues fall 35% in 2015
HTC reported revenues for 2015 down 35.2 percent to TWD 121.7 billion. The smartphone maker had a difficult last month of the year, with sales in December down 57.1 percent year-on-year and 36.6 percent lower than in November, at TWD 6.5 billion. The figures are preliminary. HTC will report full annual results later.

HTC's revenues nearly halved in the first month of January. The smartphone maker reported sales of TWD 6.48 billion for January 2016, down 47.2 percent from TWD 12.28 billion a year earlier. Compared to December 2015, revenues fell just 0.6 percent.

HTC reported a sharp fall in results for the fourth quarter of 2015 compared to a year earlier but said it saw some improvement compared to the third quarter. Omzet HTC met 35 procent omlaag in 2015

HTC heeft zijn omzet over 2015 met 35 procent zien dalen naar 121,7 miljard Taiwanese dollar. De smartphonemaker noteerde vooral in de laatste drie maanden van dit jaar slechte cijfers. In december daalde de omzet met 57,1 procent op jaarbasis en deze lag ruim een derde lager ten opzichte van november, namelijk 6,5 miljard Taiwanese dollar. HTC November sales highest in 6 months

HTC achieved in November revenue of TWD 10 billion, its highest monthly sales since May. Revenues were up from TWD 8.9 billion in October, but over the first 11 months of the year were still down 33 percent compared to the same period in 2014. HTC's sales in November were helped by the launch of its new top model, the One A9, which went on sale in October.

Smartphone maker HTC reported a recovery in revenues in October, up 26 percent from September to TWD 8.95 billion and its second consecutive monthly growth. The figure was still down 43.2 percent from October 2014. In the first 10 months of the year, revenues totaled TWD 104.88 billion, down 32.7 percent from the year-earlier period.
