HTC revenues fall 37% in February
HTC reported revenues for February down 36.8 percent from a year earlier to TWD 20.3 billion. For the first two months of 2012, the smartphone maker recorded revenues down 45.0 percent to TWD 36.9 billion. HTC earlier forecast first-quarter revenues of TWD 65-70 billion, down from TWD 101.4 billion in Q4.

HTC has introduced its HTC One Series at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. HTC forecasts sharp fall in Q1 sales, margins

HTC forecast a sharp fall in sales and margins in the first quarter, as the company works on revamping its product portfolio. The smartphone maker announced that its January revenues fell 52.55 percent from a year earlier to TWD 16.615 billion. Total first-quarter revenues for the three months to March are forecast at TWD 65-70 billion, down from TWD 101.4 billion in Q4. HTC sales weaker than expected in Q4, down 2.5%

HTC reported fourth-quarter sales down 2.5 percent from a year earlier to TWD 101.4 billion. Operating profit fell to TWD 13.0 billion from TWD 16.7 billion, and net profit dropped to TWD 11.0 billion from TWD 14.8 billion. Further details of the results will be released at a later date.
