
HTC to launch new Windows phones in October

HTC unveiled two new phones running the Windows Phone 7 operating system from Microsoft. The HTC Titan and HTC Radar will launch initially in Europe and Asia in early October, running the Mango release of Windows Phone. The Titan features a 4.7-inch super LCD screen, 1.5GHz processor, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera in a 9.9mm curved body made from brushed aluminium. Aimed at professionals, it has the full range of Microsoft Office software. The HTC Radar comes in an aluminium unibody with a 3.8-inch screen, 5 megapixel camera and 1GHz processor. Both phones come with a dedicated hardware button to use the camera without unlocking the phone, 720p HD video, DLNA, 3G up to 14.4Mbps and access to content services such as HTC Watch, Zune and Xbox Live. Recommended prices were set at EUR 599 for the Radar and EUR 399 for the Titan, excluding subsidies.
