Huawei and France Telecom-Orange have signed a memorandum of understanding for the joint development, sales and marketing of smartphones, mobile broadband devices and tablets. The two-year agreement covers both OEM and ODM projects and combines Orange's technology and marketing expertise with Huawei's smart device development, services and integration. The products created through the partnership will be sold to Orange customers globally. Huawei sees the agreement as an important step in expanding its presence and brand awareness in Europe.
