Huawei launches Honor smartphones in Europe
Huawei has launched a second brand for smartphones in Europe. The Honor brand will be available only online through retailers such as Amazon. The first model in the range is the Honor 6, a 5-inch Android smartphone with Cat6 LTE support. The recommended retail price is EUR 299.99. 

The Honor 6 also features a 13 megapixel back camera, 5 megapixel front camera, Huawei's Kirish chipset at 1.3Ghz and 3 GB RAM. It includes 16 GB internal storage plus a memory card slot and a 3000 mAh battery. The next model to launch will be the Honor 3c, at EUR 140. 

Huawei said it will offer the phones directly to consumers, with no TV advertising or shop sales, with online delivery and customer service expected to keep prices low. The Honor brand, launched in Berlin 28 October, will target the mid-range segment with premium features such as extended battery life. The company has previously used the Honor brand for phones launched in China and India.

Huawei launches Honor 3C smartphone in Netherlands

Huawei has introduced its second phone under the Honor brand in the Netherlands. After the Honor 6 in October, it's now offering the Honor 3C, a 5-inch smartphone with Android 4.2. The dual-Sim phone has an 8 megapixel back camera and 5 megapixel front camera plus a 2,300 mAh battery. It will sell for a recommended retail price of EUR 139.99.

Huawei smartphone shipments up 26% in Q3 to 16.8 mln

Huawei Technologies said its third-quarter smartphone shipments jumped 26 percent year-on-year to 16.8 million worldwide. In total the company shipped 32.03 million handsets in the three months. Growth was led by models such as the Huawei Ascend P7, which passed 3 million units sold in September, and the Ascend Mate7, which sold out in more than 1,000 retail outlets in China on its first day available. Huawei launches Honor 6 smartphone, Honor T1 tablet

Huawei has launched its Honor range of devices in India. The Honor family includes two smartphones dubbed 'Honor 6' and 'Honor Holly', and two tablets – the 'Honor X1' and 'Honor T1'. The Honor 6 flagship smartphone will be available for INR 19,999, The Economic Times reports. Starting 6 October, Huawei's Honor device lineup will be commercially available in India via the Flipkart e-commerce website.

Huawei launches Honor 3C 4G LTE smartphone in Taiwan

Huawei has introduced its first Honor-series 4G LTE smartphone, the Honor 3C LTE, in Taiwan. The Honor 3C LTE is currently available for TWD 5,490 (approximately USD 183) without contract, DigiTimes reports. The Honor 3C LTE sports a 5-inch LTPS display, HiSilicon 1.6GHz quad-core CPU, 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Huawei to launch 8-core Honor 6 smartphone in China

Huawei unveiled the Honor 6, a LTE Android 4.4.2 smartphone for launch in China on 01 July. Honor 6 features a 1.7 GHz 8-core processor developed by Huawei's affiliate HiSilicon Technologies, 5-inch Full HD touch screen, 3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB ROM, a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera and support for TD-LTE, LTE FDD, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA and GSM, the Digitimes reports. It will sell in 16GB and 32GB version for respectively CNY 1,999 (USD 321) and CNY 2,299, with online pre-orders starting 25 June.
