Global information and communications technology systems provider Huawei has reported sales revenue of CNY 98.3 billion for first half 2011, up 11 percent year-on-year. Operating profit reached CNY 12.4 billion in the first half. Chief Financial Officer Cathy Meng said that the performance was in line with expectations, with growth stable and robust. She said that Huawei remained confident of achieving its annual sales target of CNY 199 billion with the Device and Enterprise businesses as new growth drivers. Huawei Device showed strong growth in H1 2011, with shipments up 40 percent year-on-year to 72 million units.
