Huawei to unveil Mate 40 series on 22 October

Huawei plans to unveil its Mate 40  Series of devices on 22 October, the company said in a Tweet, with the tag “Leap Further Ahead.” Talk is going around that the company will bring out a Mate 40 phone out with a 6.5 inch screen, and a Mate 40 Pro edition with one of 6.7 inches, the Verge reported. Android Authority says the devices will cost EUR 1,200-1,300 (USD 1,400-1,500).

Huawei unveils new Mate 40 Pro flagship smartphone with 5nm processor

Huawei has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Mate 40. This is the second phone after the iPhone 12 to run a 5nm processor, Huawei's own Kirin 9000, which offers a significant improvement in speed, performance and energy efficiency. Available as the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+, the new phone also includes 5G with mmWave support, an upgraded camera system, a new 'Space Ring' design and a range of new Huawei apps. The new phone will go on sale in early November from EUR 1,199.
