Hungary subsidised internet offer attracts nearly 100,000 households

About 100,000 Hungarian families have asked for free internet so far, following the government's measure to make fixed internet access available free of charge for teachers and students of secondary schools, Hungarian Deputy Minister of Innovation and Technology Tamas Schanda announced. The government's aim was to ensure everyone could learn and teach from home during the pandemic. The discounted service is offered for the duration of the coronavirus-related emergency period.
