Huawei has launched its new Huawei P8 Lite 2017. Although the name of the smartphone suggests that it is a successor to the Huawei P8 Lite, the device bears no comparison whatsoever with the successful P8 Lite from 2015. The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 is a completely stand-alone model, for both design and hardware. The design of the device is more like the Honor 8. The new device has a full HD display of 5.7 inches driven by a Kirin 655 octa-core processor (4x2.1 GHz+4x1.7 GHz).
The smartphone is equipped with a 3 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage, and a microSD memory card slot. It also includes a 12-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel one on the front. The unit is equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 will be released in a number of countries. In the Netherlands, it will come out on 1 February for a retail price of EUR 249, in black, white and gold.
