IBM chooses Slack's chat system for its 350,000 employees

Slack has won a contract to provide its chat system for IBM's more than 350,000 employees, Business Insider reported, confirmed later by a filing by Slack to the US Securities and Exchange Commission. IBM has been testing Slack systems for quite a few years and has now chosen the system over competitor Microsoft Teams. Internal teams at IBM reportedly started using the chat app in 2014.
