iBurst sale to Multisource approved

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) has approved the deal between Multisource and Wireless Business Solutions (WBS). Multisource expects to acquire 100 percent of WBS, which operates the ISP iBurst. Icasa confirmed the deal was given the green light on 30 October. The acquisition may go through as early as this week. News of a potential sale of WBS emerged in September 2014, when the company said it was looking at three different bids.
