ICE sees FY revenues grow 0.7% to CRC 428 million

Costa Rica's ICE recorded a turnover of CRC 428.13 million for 2015, up by 0.7 percent compared to the previous year, reports La Nacion. The figure includes revenues from mobile and fixed telephony, internet and pay-TV services, provided by its subsidiaries Kolbi, Racsa and Cable Vision. According to Jesus Orozco, head of the Corporate Finance Division of ICE, the telecommunications revenues were influenced by the new consumption habits of customers and tariff imbalances. He added that the replacement of voice with increased use of free apps and  messaging, affected both the mobile and fixed
