Intred expands FTTH network by 30% to nearly 2,000 Km

Italian fixed-network operator Intred, present in the northern Lombardy region, has announced that it increased its fibre-optic network by 30 percent year on year in 2018, from 1,500 Km to 1,950 Km, following an investment of EUR 6.5 million. In a statement announcing the approval of its annual results statement, the Brescia-based operator said annual turnover was up over 20 percent year on year to EUR 17.2 million thanks above all to recurring subscriptions to its FTTH and FTTC-based services. EBITDA was up 19.4 percent to EUR 6.8 million, with the margin coming in at 38.7 percent.
