
Inwi reaches 4.3 million clients ten months after launch

Moroccan operator Wana reached 4.3 million Inwi mobile telephony customers at the end of 2010, namely ten months after launching its GSM service Inwi. At the end of 2010, the operator's market share on the mobile telephony market was 13.45 percent, up compared to 2.39 percent a year earlier. Prior to the launch of Inwi, Wana offered CDMA fixed wireless and mobile voice and internet services under the name Bayn. In 2010, it maintained its leadership on the segments of fixed telephony and 3G internet with market shares of 66.72 percent and 40.68 percent.
