Ipla said it's currently testing a new version of the Android app with a group of users in order to try and improve the user experience further and simplify the buying process. Based on the selected content, the application presents personalized recommendations of movies, series and TV channels which might be interesting to the user. Furthermore, a detailed programme guide was made available in the 'TV Channels' section, in which one can find as many as 47 popular channels.
Ipla Android application users on the Plus network of the operator Polkomtel can link their Ipla account with the phone number and carry out direct purchases via their invoice for mobile services and also use a special Ipla Plus package. This package allows watching selected content without advertising or additional charges. It includes six TV channels: Polsat News, Polsat News 2, Polsat Sport News, Superstacja, Polsat Cafe and Polsat Play as well as TV series, entertainment programmes and documentaries.
A new version of the application is also available to users of Samsung TV sets with the Tizen system, Panasonic TV sets with FirefoxOS and Toshiba TV sets, and the operator is working on publishing a new version of the application for iOS devices.
