ITC postpones Samsung vs Apple patent ruling to 4 June
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has extended its deadline to 4 June to review a preliminary ruling on whether Apple infringes on Samsung patents in the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. The ITC previously said it would make a decision on 31 May and gave no reason for the extension. A preliminary ruling in September 2012 cleared apple of violating the patents. The ITC decided in November to review the preliminary ruling, originally setting a deadline of 14 January to come to a decision.

ITC to review ruling in Samsung case against Apple

The US International Trade Commission said it will review "in its entirety" a trade judge's 14 September findings that cleared Apple of claims the company violated four Samsung patents. The commission, which has the power to block imports of products that infringe US patents, is scheduled to make a final decision on 14 January, Bloomberg reports. Samsung loses patent claim against Apple at ITC

Apple has won a new round in its patent battle against Samsung, at the US International Trade Commission this time.
