Juniper invests USD 3 mln in Adva
Ethernet networking specialist Adva Optical Networking and Juniper Networks have entered into an investment agreement. Under the terms of the contract, Adva will issue 551,471 ordinary shares to Juniper Networks in exchange for a USD 3.0 million investment under exclusion of subscription rights of existing shareholders. Following the completion of the transaction, the number of ordinary Adva outstanding shares will increase by 1.2 percent to 46,963,728. Additionally, Juniper and Adva plan to evaluate the potential for jointly marketing and selling next-generation IP-based transport products to service providers.
