Kiev city municipality seeks Wi-Fi providers for bomb shelters
Kiev city municipality has started accepting applications for the installation of Wi-Fi networks in bomb shelters of the capital city. The municipality has launched a special website for the applications. Residents applying for the service are being asked to meet staff arriving for installation work, for safety reasons.

Kiev city municipality has announced that more than 200 bomb shelters have already been covered with free Wi-Fi networks, reports Ht.ua citing sources in the municipality. 727 applications for connection of bomb shelters to Wi-Fi have been received since tha launch of the project. 19 ISPs cooperate with the municipality on the issue.

Ukrainian regional ISp Tenet, working in the Odessa and Mikolayiv regions continues works providing bomb shelters with internet services. The ISP has already provided with internet services almost 60 bomb shelters.

Ukrainian operators Vodafone Ukraine, Kyivstar and Lifecell have launched national roaming services. Customers not able to access their operator's network can now connect to any of the other two networks.
