
KKR eyes Slovenia's Tusmobil - report

US investment fund Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co is aiming to purchase Slovenian mobile telephony operator Tusmobil, according to Finance.si. KKR recently purchased local cable operator Telemach. Tusmobil is owned by Slovenian businesman Mirko Tus. Tusmobil is in fact seeking capital to help finance its participation in the 4G mobile frequency auction as well as for the repayment of loans. Sources told the daily that the asking price is around EUR 150 million. Earlier speculation was that Deutsche Telekom, Tele2 and Huawei were interested in taking over Tusmobil.
