Dutch operator KPN has extended its bid period for iBasis until 23 October. The operator said it will use the extra time to defend itself against the lawsuit filed by iBasis against KPN in early August in the Delaware Court of Chancery. The complaint alleges fraud and breach of KPN's fiduciary duties to iBasis and its minority stockholders.
