KPN introduces website services for SMEs, entrepreneurs

KPN has launched two business services aimed at helping self-employed, SMEs, entrepreneurs and associations build websites, with the cheapest version priced at EUR 8. The KPN WebsiteMaker enables users to easily build a website themselves, start a webshop and begin an AdWords campaign. Entrepreneurs who prefer to outsource can use the WebsiteCoach. All websites are automatically suited for mobile.

The website will be hosted at KPN data centres in the Netherlands and will consequently be protected by Dutch law.

KPN Business offers three versions. WebsiteMaker Standard comes with an unlimited number of pages on the website and 2 GB of storage. Customers pay EUR 8 per month. A KPN promotion means they will EUR 4 for the first six months. The WebsiteMaker Premium provides extensive mobile web functionalities, a free domain name for 1 year free and 5 GB of storage. Premium costs EUR 18 per month, with the promotion giving the first six months for EUR 9.WebsiteMaker Premium+Web store includes all of the premium services, including web store functionalities for up to 100 products. This version costs EUR 33 per month, with the first six months priced at EUR 16.50.

The KPN WebsiteCoach is available for EUR 35 per month. There are several packages and additional services available, says KPN, with one-off start-up costs going from EUR 0 to 949. The service is for entrepreneurs who want to outsource the creation, management and optimization of a website. During the 12-week service, a KPN coach will give insight into the performance of the website and provide practical tips and tricks to encourage website growth and promote the online business.
