
KPN, Telefonica partner for multinational customers

Dutch operator KPN and Telefonica have signed a partnership agreement for multinational customers. This will enable both companies to deliver global services within each other markets to their respective multinational customers (MNC), with a focus on managed mobility services. It was signed by Telefonica International Wholesale Services on behalf of the Telefonica Group. The agreement will enable provision of service to more than 1200 MNC's across both Telefonica and KPN, delivering a footprint across the European region and incorporating emerging territories. The partnership spans more than twenty countries including Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina, among others. Germany, where both companies have competing mobile operations, is excluded from the agreement. The agreement defines how KPN and Telefonica will collaborate and support each other in the multinational segment, incorporating products and service development, service level agreements, bid management, relationship management and central reporting.
