Dutch operator KPN has agreed to acquire Blau Mobilfunk, a wholesale partner of its German mobile unit E-Plus. Blau Mobilfunk operates under its own brand name and through partners to offer services to the ethnic and discount mobile markets in Germany. It will continue to operate under the same management and structure. Blau recorded a fourfold increase in revenues last year, to EUR 42 million. The Hamburg-based company has 60 employees. No financial details of the acquisition were released.
