KT launches unlimited LTE data plans
South Korean communications provider KT has introduced unlimited LTE data plans. The company has introduced three unlimited plans with availability until 30 April. The 950 plan comes with 14 GB of data, the 1100 plan comes with 20 GB of data, and the 1300 plan includes 25 GB of data. Once a customer uses up the included allowance, the data is capped at 3 GB per day and further usage is throttled to 2 Mbps. KT also announced that existing LTE 550, 650, and 750 plans now also provide LTE data caps which throttle internet to 400 Kbps. Earlier, rival LG Uplus launched similar LTE unlimited plans.
