
Kuju, a developer of interactive games software for the PC, video game console and mobile telephone games markets, announced details of its fund raising and admission to the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange ("AIM"). 2.3 million shares, or 28% of the company's stock, were placed at 96 pence. This raised 2.2 million pounds (EUR 3.5 million), giving the company a valuation of 8.1 million pounds. Commenting on the first day of dealings on AIM, Jonathan Newth, Managing Director of Kuju, said: "We are delighted that we have been able to raise the required funds to take Kuju onto its next stage of development. The listing and fund raising on AIM provides Kuju with the necessary capital structure to grow quickly and to further establish ourselves as one of the UK's leading independent games developers."
