Kyocera launches FirstNet ready DuraXE flip phone for AT&T LTE network

Kyocera said it has launched a military-grade and FirstNet Ready phone on the AT&T LTE network. The DuraXE Epic is a compact flip phone built for reliability in harsh conditions. The device, which can withstand drops of up to 5 feet onto concrete and water immersion up to 6 feet for 30 min, is aimed particularly at the public safety, construction and hospitality industries, as well as seniors or anyone looking for a durable, easy-to-use device. It's also certified Non-incendive Class I Div 2 for protection in hazardous environments, and can be disinfected using alcohol or cleaning wipes.
