Lava launches Xolo X900 smartphone with Intel
Indian handset maker Lava International announced that its new smartphone, the Xolo X900, will go on sale from 23 April in India, from the website Xolo.in and with Croma. Availability in other retail chains, general trade and online stores will follow from early May. The device carries a recommended price of INR 22,000. The Xolo X900 was first announced in February, as one of the first smartphones to carry an Intel processor. According to the earlier announcement, it will run the Intel Atom processor Z2460 with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and supporting HSPA+ with the Intel XMM 6260 Platform. Along with the 1.6 GHz processor, it comes equipped with a 4.03-inch LCD touch screen and support for HDMI, NFC and HD video playback.
