Lebara underlying revenues down 8% in Q4, loses 90,000 customers

Monday 4 March 2019 | 17:20 CET | News
MVNO Lebara Mobile Group reported revenues of EUR 123 million for the fourth quarter down 11 percent. Excluding divestments and one-time items, the company said revenue fell 8 percent, hurt by prepaid registration rules in Germany and a decline in the customer base as it focuses more on profitable clients. EBITDA more than doubled, to EUR 55 million from EUR 21.2 million a year earlier, thanks to a EUR 33.8 million gain on the sale of its Spanish business. Underlying EBITDA increased by EUR 6.3 million, driven by a higher share of VAS.
