Level 3, BT Global Services partner in Eastern Europe
Communications and information services company Level 3 has partnered with BT Global Services to expand backbone capacity in Central and Eastern Europe, as part of BT's strategy of focusing on the service layer and optimization. The initiative is meant to provide a 2,400-km fiber network fully equipped with advanced networking capability. In addition, Level 3 will deliver wavelength services to BT in the CEE region. The agreement also enables Level 3 to further expand its fibre network, offering full services in the existing markets of Prague and Vienna while adding new points of presence in Budapest, Bratislava and Ivancice.
