LG starts G4 roll-out in HK, Turkey, Russia, Singapore

LG has started rolling out its new LG G4 smartphone in Hong Kong, with launches set to follow throughout the month into June in Turkey, Russia and Singapore. The introductions will eventually include most of Europe, North America, CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America. LG has distribution arrangements with around 180 carriers and retails for the device.

The LG G4 comes with a handcrafted, genuine full grain leather back cover in six colours, or with three unique material covers with 3D patterns. The rear camera features an F1.8 aperture lens and 16MP resolution supported by Color Spectrum Sensor (CSS) and a new Manual Mode. The front 8MP camera comes with Gesture Interval Shot for selfies, which can then saved to the removable microSD card.

The smartphone also sports an IPS Quantum Display, Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 808 Processor with X10 LTE, a 3,000mAh removable battery and a Slim Arc exterior design for better grip and durability when dropped. It also supports Quick Charge 2.0 (enabled with Quick Charge 2.0 certified adapter, sold separately).

Orange Romania takes pre-orders for Huawei P8, LG G4

Orange Romania started taking pre-orders for Huawei P8 and LG G4 smartphones. The Huawei P8 will be delivered from 26 May. The first customers to pre-order this phone will receive a Huawei selfie stick as a prize. The P8's 13-Megapixel camera has the 'world's first' four-color RGBW sensor. Vodafone Greece to launch LG G4 in June

Vodafone Greece announced it will offer the LG G4 smartphone from 04 June, in stores and online. It's now available for pre-order in black or brown on the operator's website, and the device will work on Vodafone's 4G+ network. The G4 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS Quantum display, 16MP camera with f1.8 aperture, Android 5.1, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM and a removable 3,000 mAh battery. Exertis gets exclusive B2B distribution for LG G4 in UK

UK-based European distributor Exertis has reached an exclusive distribution agreement with LG for the supply of its G4 smartphone to the B2B indirect channel. The phone was unveiled in London at the end of April, and is due to go on sale for GBP 499, Sim-free, later this month. Tele2 Estonia adds LG, HTC smartphones to its range

Mobile operator Tele2 Estonia plans to start selling the LG G4 and HTC One M9 smartphones in its shops in May. The LG G4 features a 5.5-inch screen and 16 megapixel main camera. LG G4 smartphone pre-sales have started in Kazakhstan, reports Profit.kz. Customers can order the device on the online shops of retail chains Azbuka Svyazi, Alser, Mechta, Fora, Sulpak, Tekhnodrom and Eureka. LG smartphone shipments soar 26% to 15.4 mln in Q1
