Liberty Global has named Vincent Bruyneel its VP for strategy and corporate development. He comes from the company's Belgian subsidiary Telenet, where he worked ten years, most recently as senior VP strategy, IR and corporate communications. He starts at Liberty Global 01 May. He will focus on the cable group's operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Central and Eastern Europe. At Telenet, CFO Birgit Conix will take over responsibility for investor relations, and Ann Caluwaerts, senior VP for corporate affairs and media, will handle corporate communications. A new strategy chief will be named later.
