Lime to provide wholesale broadband services in DR
Mobile operator Cable and Wireless, which operates in the Caribbean region under the Lime brand name, has won the license to provide telecom services to ISPs in the Dominican Republic. Lime has signed a 20-year contract with telecoms regulator Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel). Lime entered the Dominican Republic telecoms market in February, landing a section of its East-West cable in Santo Domingo.
