Japanese app developer Line will not launch an initial public offering this year, the Financial Times reported, citing a regulatory filing from parent Naver. The South Korean internet portal said Line is still considering whether to seek a single listing in Japan or in the US, or go for a dual listing in both countries. Naver said Line has been considering an IPO as one of the options for future growth and that the service was showing rapid and healthy growth. Line management has determined however that now was not the optimal timing for an IPO.
