Maroc Telecom revenues down 3.6% to MAD 20.48 bln in Morocco

Monday 19 February 2018 | 08:53 CET | News
Maroc Telecom's operations in Morocco generated revenues of MAD 20.48 billion for the financial year ended 31 December 2017, down 3.6 percent from MAD 21.24 billion in 2016. The decline in incoming international traffic induced by the deregulation of IP telephony in November 2016 and the asymmetry of mobile call termination rates since 01 March 2017 have weighed on mobile revenues but are partially offset by the increase in fixed line and internet activities. Fourth quarter revenue grew by 2.7 percent.
