Masmovil, Eurona close 3.5 GHz spectrum deal

Spanish satellite broadband operator Eurona has closed the sale of 40 MHz of 3.5 GHz spectrum it has held since 2014 to Masmovil for EUR 30 million around 6 months after the deal was first announced. The acquisition, which has been approved by the General Directorate of Telecommunications and Information Technology of Spain's Ministry of Economy and Business, brings Masmovil's stock of 5G-ready 3.5 GHz spectrum to 80 MHz.
