Mobile Broadband Network (MBNL), the network sharing JV between Everything Everywhere and Hutchison 3G UK, has signed an over GBP 100 million, 8-year contract with Virgin Media Business. This will support Everything Everywhere and 3 UK customers access to mobile data on the move as MBNL deploys Virgin Media Business' Sync-E platform. Virgin Media Business will build 14 regional aggregation networks across the UK to enhance MBNL's bandwidth capacity. This will be the UK's only synchronous Ethernet mobile backhaul service, Virgin said.
