Megafon appoints new CEO from July

Russian operator Megafon plans to appoint Khachatur Pombukhchan as its the new CEO, replacing Gevork Vermishyan, who will become a member of Megafon's management council of the company and focus on developing its international and strategic assets. The change is planned from 01 July. A draft decision should soon be presented for the approval of the management council.  

Vermishyan started working as CEO of Megafon in November of 2018. Pombukhchan currently works as an executive director at the operator.

Megafon announces appointments

The director for innovations and infrastructure at Russian mobile operator Megafon, Frederic Vanoosthuyze, has been appointed an advisor for strategic infrastructure projects to the CEO of the company, effective from 01 July. Pavel Korchagin will replace Vanoosthuyze in his current position. Korchagin presently works as CEO of New Digital Solutions, a joint venture by Megafon and Rostelecom to develop5G networks.
