Mexico's Maxcom posts 35% revenue fall in Q3

Friday 30 October 2020 | 10:22 CET | News
Mexican triple-play operator Maxcom Telecomunicaciones reported revenues of MXN 219 million in the third quarter of 2020, down 35 percent year on year and 5 percent sequentially due to lower wholesale activity. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter was MXN 60 million, up from MXN 50 million a year earlier, thanks to reduced network costs to mitigate restructuring and the effects of the pandemic, while the company's operating loss narrowed to MXN 29 million compared to a MXN 53 million loss in Q3 2020.
