Moldova's fixed broadband subs up 5% in 2017 to 584,300

Moldova's number of fixed broadband subscribers increased by about 5 percent in 2017 compared to 2016 to 584,300, according to data from telecommunications authority Anrceti. The number of those who contracted broadband connections at high and very high speeds increased by 12.8 percent to over 335,100. The most important year-on-year increase was recorded among subscribers whose connections' speeds are above 100 Mbps. Their number rose 23 percent to about 40,000.
