Molotov eyes 200,000 paying customers by year-end

Tuesday 5 November 2019 | 11:11 CET | News
French OTT platform Molotov expects to close the year with 200,000 paying customers, according to the company's founder Jean-David Blanc. In an interview with Le Figaro, Blanc also revealed that the medium-term future of the service has been secured with a new funding deal signed in the summer. The agreement, covering 24 months, aims to provide Molotov with enough capital to keep the business going until it reaches breakeven. The company's revenues are growing and annual turnover this year should be 2.5 times higher than in 2018.
