Montenegro pay-TV connections reach 190,311

The number of subscribers to conditional access distribution platforms in Montenegro amounted to 190,311 in February, which is 0.49 percent more than in December 2016. According to data published by the Agency for Electronic Media, at the end of February, 2.30 percent of households in Montenegro received TV channels only via analogue free-to-air reception, while the overwhelming majority, 97.70 percent, opted to receive TV via the subscription-based distribution platforms. DTH is the main alternative distribution platform with a 33.65 percent share.
