Montenegro's Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Activity has completed the auction of frequencies in the 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2 GHz and 2.6 GHz bands. Telenor and Crnogorski Telekom secured the necessary frequency resources to continue providing mobile services for the next 15 years, while the digital dividend, the spectrum vacated with the switchover to DTT in the 800 MHz band, was awarded to Crnogorski Telekom and m:tel. The Montenegrin state earned a total of EUR 50.6 million from the auction.
