The majority (83%) of Brits plan to give a connected device to their family members this year, according to new research from BT to promote its full-fibre broadband plans.
Smartphones are the most popular present this Christmas, with 36 percent of people planning to gift one; followed by games consoles (33%), tablets (29%), laptops (26%), TVs (25%) and smart speakers(19%). The research shows that UK homes already have an average of 28 devices connected to their home Wi-Fi, including four smart TVs, three tablets, two laptops and two games consoles on average per home.
