
Motorola updates Moto E with 4G, front camera

Motorola Mobility announced a new version of its low-cost Moto E smartphone, first launch in May last year in India. The new device with a 4.5-inch qHD display was upgraded with 4G access, a faster 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and bigger 2,390 mAh battery. Motorola also added a front camera, in addition to the 5 megapixel back camera, and introduced a control mechanism called Quick Capture to launch the cameras with a twist of the wrist. The smartphone will come with the latest version of Android Lollipop, in a choice of black or white, plus a range of six coloured shells. The new Moto E will launch from 25 February in over 50 countries in Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia.
