
MSN unveiled details regarding its upcoming premium services for broadband in the US, MSN Premium. MSN Premium, which is targeted at broadband- connected households, includes options allowing customers to access their e-mail, calendar and contact information. Information-sharing features allow customers to manage their digital photo collections; and safety and security features, such as the Pop-Up Guard, help customers to surf the internet free of pesky pop-ups. Consumers can fully customize toolbars and they will receive a personal homepage. On this website consumers can add some extra modules, such as MapPoint which provide traffic reports. MSN Premium is slated for availability this winter, and MSN will begin beta testing next week with thousands of consumers.
